FLYNN'S Guide to San Francisco's Neighborhood Bars

New owner, Ron, a self proclaimed former song and dance man (Curly in Oklahoma), will still step up to the colored-mylar-lined platform for a quick karaoke rendition of Copacabana. Ron was a genuinely friendly host on our Wednesday night outing. The club is completely plastered in promotional decorative items from beer companies (ironically most of which are from non-alcoholic beer makers).

Shingled walls poke through behind the various 49er schedule posters. Signs proudly announced the arrival of T-shirts which were green and not terribly interesting. Ron doesn't plan on tending bar much longer as he searches for a new bartender after the last one drove away all the regulars.

Flynn gives this one two jiggers.
